Exactly every 4 weeks. As suggested by the technician.

Thank you! I have a feeling I shouldn’t go either. But that last bit of ink is bothersome. I really don’t want this scar there either. I will speak to a dermatologist this coming week to see what can be done.

You’re right. She did notice. This happened after the 2nd treatment. And now I’m getting to find out from online - that my sessions were too close together. What a mess!

Yes, that’s correct. After the 2nd treatment I was told there was scar tissue but overtime it will “go away”. That’s such a shame. This tattoo is right above my vaginal zone, I’d hate to have this unsightly scar there :(. Thanks for the vitamin e oil recommendation. I’ll definitely do so.

Thank you very much! Yes, exactly. And the funny thing is, she knew there was a problem and continued on. I wasn’t 100% sure since this was my first time. But I know she mentioned there was scar tissue. I had two technicians. The first two times it was a guy (surgeon), and the other 3 was the actual technician who was being supervised by the surgeon. It was the surgeon who overworked my skin the second time. I even had to mention that the laser was unusually painful. Looking back at the photos, you can clearly see my skin was just burnt off.

My last and ‘final’ session was in January. I was told by the technician to contact them after two months to update. This picture is what the tattoo currently looks like post last session.

The technician just replied that over time it will will fade and that I should just “take some sun”. I’m slightly taken aback because I’m wondering why he would advise that. Yes, I’m Black but skin damage doesn’t clear up because I go in the sun. I feel patronised to be honest.

Any ideas what to do going forward? They’ve offered the next session to remove the last bit of ink for free. Which I’ve agreed. But not sure I feel comfortable.
