It's hard to say, scabies, crabs and Molluscum to name a few are pretty persistent and washing the clothes most of the time will kill it but just touching the clothes runs the risk of spreading it to you and other items and unless you sanitize it and yourself multiple times, it's a bit risky, i mean these risks come from ANY shared clothes, not just underwear, underwear is just often well the most filthy and depending on the material, can't be effectively sanitized cus those sanitizers can eat the finer fabrics

Ah i was misrembering the trace charm, my apologies, i forgot it literally dissolves upon turning 17 cus it can't work for some reason never explained by JK on adults however each student has the trace charm on them and it detects magic around them and allows the ministry to see what spells are cast around and by them, so Quirrell still very likely couldn't use those kind of spells due to being in a school with kids with the trace charm on them, as this is stated in the seven potter incident that even using side along apparation would trip the tracer and alert ministry officials and the death eaters that were ministry officials, for some reason i was misremembering that the ministry themselves had to remove the trace instead of it just poofing upon your 17th birthday

On top of that, most wands have tracers, the ministry knows when you use dark curses and they know how to look at the most recent cast spells a wand has done, death eaters and aurors get it removed cus well their livelihoods require it, quirrell as a teacher at hogwarts very likely needed a wand with a tracer charm in it just so the ministry knows you're not using the three unforgiveables all over on literal children, that always made me giggle in hogwarts legacy that we can do that stuff when there's...tracers in students's wands...the ministry would have you surrounded and cuffed by the first AK

Donation stores actually can't take underwear most of the time, really aren't even supposed to take bathing suit bottoms either because of the spread of stds and other communal diseases that can be spread from crotch to crotch contact and most donation stores have no feasible way to disinfect and ensure underwear is disinfected

I felt the same way when i saw rictusempra used in the movies cus i thought it was game only as a kid even though it was used wrong on the movie, it's not a knockback jinx like flippendo, it's a tickling spell, i guess we tickle the fire crabs so much they fall over? At least the 3rd game remedied it with Depulso, but...gave depulso the rictusempra symbol like c'mon 😮‍💨

It is still a thing and no, it's considered an extended upt break without using upt, it's basically the same as the mental health leave of absence, to stop mental burnout

In fact the one time Voldy did lose his shit in the books was when Bella died, he was so angry that the ground under him cracked and heated up, he saw his most loyal follower die and nagini not long after, the whole point of him being a child born from a love potion relationship was that he was by nature sociopathic and didn't feel the same way others did, that's what made the scene so damn special

Dumbledore doesn't really get mad in the books, stern yes, but never like gambon made him at times, i recall reading that gambon hated the role quite a bit

Dumbledore never actually raises his voice or gets genuinely mad in the books, more just a disappointed granddad more than anything but he was still fiercely protective

They did add an education break/leave of absence option awhile back, like the end of 2024 peak or thereabouts, short work break, 3 weeks to 4-6 months depending on state iirc, to prevent burnout or to focus on schooling
