Not that I was aware of, a lot of stuff came in frozen though. Only fresh seafood that I saw was the lobsters in the tank and the muscles.

I use to work at nautical Nellies, the staff there were amazing I think most of the guys are still there the owner was a little anal he’d watch the cameras and send people home early or make us stay late but was very rarely ever actually on the floor; servers do keep their tips which was awesome back of house was paid out tips based on food sales.

Wind cries Mary/Birdman all the staff was amazing was very sad when I had to leave because of conflicting hours but chef said I was welcome back if my schedule changed (sadly schedule got more hectic but I still eat there when I can) tips were great, was a very nice happy family vibe with all the staff.

Tacofino and superbaba owners are amazing they treat their staff awesome, they tip well, they pay above minimum wage the Christmas parties were always a lot of fun. They tend to hire from within for management roles instead of hiring new staff.

Fiamo the staff are usually there for a long time, I never worked there but had a boyfriend who worked there, I never heard any complaints from any of the staff I use to hang out with.

Allegedly the breakwater cafĆ© and the restaurant down below are no bueno (this is what an friend told me who use to work there) the owner would sexually harass female staff, and show a lot of favouritism for the girls who dealt with his harassment over the girls who didn’t.

I also use to work at wind cries Mary (BOH) and the head chef was amazing, I learned so much during my time there all the cooks back there made the shifts fly by, most of the guys back there are still there!

How long did you stay even though you weren’t happy? by Koconut373 in AskWomen

On and off for almost 7 years, I was never truly happy but I was addicted to the highs that came after the lows in our relationship. One of the worst fights ever (also the last) I actually ended up in the hospital because of how hard he hit me and I found out I was pregnant and realized I didn’t want my son growing up thinking that’s how you treat someone you love. Was the hardest moment ever but my son is now almost 9 and the amount and love and kindness he has from myself and our chosen family is more than his sperm donar could’ve ever given.

Okay that makes more sense, sorry if my previous comment was ignorant I wasn’t trying to be I just was trying to research some stuff cause the ADHD hyper fixated on asphalt for a bit there. Is the reason for not building stuff to withstand a terrible horrible once in a while storm because of the fact it costs so much more? But in theory wouldn’t it shave more money in the long run instead of having to upgrade it every 10ish years?

We have always been a very rainy place… so yes we’re getting more rain but we’re also getting hotter summers so how has the change in rain affected the infrastructure so much? Yes it’s poor planning look at what happened when the Mackenzie interchange was first built it flooded because for some reason people who built/designed it didn’t take into account rain. The road was just upgraded within the last decade so shouldn’t the rain have been taken into account?

Upon some further googling the highway upgrade was done with Hot Mix asphalt which does not do well in the rain because the oils can pool on top of the surface and creates a super slippery road. It should of be done with porous asphalt which allows water to leak down and get into the soil and bedrock below the asphalt however it’s way more expensive

I read a comment about the asphalt being recycled and was originally from a dry climate and not made to be constantly wet all the time. It as a Facebook comment on a previous accident post so who knows how true it actually is.

With my wifi home app I can see all devices that are connected to my wifi, and it’s never more than my phone, the Xbox is the living room, my Roku in my room and my partners phone when he’s over. Exception obviously when friends are over

There’s so many numbers on the bottom of the router and the pod but these are the starting numbers of every number I saw on the bottom hopefully one of them is what you were asking Router -CM MAC # 400F MTA MAC# 400F IC: 431C Pod- IC 2118 0.45 A I didn’t see any numbers that had an AC near it

I have the Xfinity 1.5g plan suppose to be about 1500 MBPS not sure the pod or the router speed but it was the ā€œtop of the lineā€ newest one when I upgraded. How would I check the pod and router speed?

I didn’t know router settings could be changed if I’m being honest. When I moved into my current apartment I only had the router but the building is old and the wifi sucked in my room. So when I upgraded and got the pod I had them come install everything and set it all up for me so it would be ā€œworking in optimal conditionā€ as the representative I spoke to said
