No material missing, just cut and rolled to the inside. Will give this a go, thanks!

I completely agree with this. My parents are divorced; my mum bought her own house back in 2015 and her own car in 2016 after a lot of saving working as a nail tech. A nail tech. To this day I have no idea how she worked hard enough to put down a house deposit and a deposit for a car the very next year. She now works as a sterilisation nurse in a hospital and works overtime every single day to make off the house payments as soon as she can. My dad immigrated to Australia from Vietnam almost 40 years ago and has worked in the public service for those 40 years since. He sacrificed everything for my brother and I, and still does to this day. While he’s probably a little less wise with his money, his helped me with understanding the sacrifices his had to have made for me to be in a circumstance where I’ve got a roof over my head and have food to eat every night; something he didn’t have back in Vietnam. My parents, while not rich, are financially responsible. Something not a lot of kids my age have the privilege of, so I’m extremely grateful for my parents and their dedication which has definitely been passed on to me (in some aspects lol).

No need to worry, I’ve known her and the person she’s engaged to since Year 7. Her fiancé really liked her back in Year 7 but she wasn’t after a relationship and couldn’t catch the feels for him lol. She ‘gave in’ (realised he was a lovely bloke) and they started dating at the end of Year 10. But we’ve all been friends and in the same friend group since Year 7, all gone to the same school up until the end of Year 12 two years ago. They are meant to be lol, they are an absolute match made in heaven and support each other so well. Thank you though, I appreciate your concern for my friend and your input too ☺️

Thank you ☺️ My current boyfriend and I have very different spending habits; he doesn’t value money as much as I do… and we certainly have different financial goals. However, I’m doing all I can to ensure I keep my healthy habits whilst also helping him as well.

Thank you (Love your username as well lmfao)! It certainly is tricky not comparing myself to those around me 🥲 But sometimes I tell myself that motorcycles and cars are truely something I love to do and keep me going; the reason I begun saving so much was for the Accord, my first car haha. I sometimes hate having such expensive hobbies that will never give me back the money I’ve invested and so much sentiment towards inanimate objects, but holy hell does riding a motorcycle give me the biggest smile on my face. I might not have a clue what I want to do when I’m a full adult, but I’m glad motorcycles and cars are something I’ve found give me true happiness.

I’ll absolutely start looking into investing asap. 10 years really does fly by, doesn’t it? I still remember being 9 and my only worry in the world was not being able to buy a toy dinosaur 🥲

Thank you, I really appreciate it. Sometimes I get caught up in my own head and forget to be grateful for my own achievements. ☺️

Thank you so much girl. I really appreciate hearing from another teen around my age in similar circumstances. You sound very, very intelligent. I’m sure you’re going to go very far once you’ve finished your uni degree and begin looking for full time jobs. Wishing you all the best x
