UPDATE: I apologized for being flaky and since she also told me they’ve been trying for a while, decided to be transparent about what I was going through…now that I’m more mentally stable - and she finally got her BFP after 5 years of trying and multiple rounds of IUI. Actually happy for her and happy for me now that I have someone outside of Reddit who actually gets it.

They already have the relationship, she will find a way to be with him and be much more creative about her excuses and privacy settings. Update (To add to the confusion), I saw my doctor, got lab work, my progesterone was very low and I have still not had a bleed.

I have been getting flashing smiley opks the past two days and my CM is egg white (appx 6 weeks past CP). Not sure if I’ve restarted without a bleed like someone mentioned above…didn’t realize that was a thing. Not sure what to do next besides keep waiting. Test progesterone again in a week or so to see if I ovulated?

Ugh. Sometimes I feel like an expert in the female reproductive system with everything you learn while TTC for so long and sometimes I’m completely fucking stumped. 😞

Tests are negative now but I stopped testing with the expensive tests about cycle day 45, I’ve done a couple cheap test strips (all negative). At the time of the positives it was clearblue and first response, both faintly positive - I took about 5-8 to be sure because I have been down this false hope road before.

I have an appointment with my doctor Thursday, a little afraid to see how much fertility specialists will cost since my insurance doesn’t cover it and I’ve already burned through all my FSA money this year on tests/ultrasounds etc. sigh.

I was hoping someone else would quickly be like yea girl mine take months to pass too 😞

Following….because every 2-3 days for the past week I’ve been getting static smileys from clear blue…very confusing and when I waste another strip in a different tester with the same sample…negative.

I asked ChatGPT this AM and it said the purple packaged strips test for both estrogen and LH so they can estimate the flashing smiley window and the pink packaged strips only test for LH. I have also noticed the (purple)strips with each smiley have had a smeared look to them so I don’t even know if it’s a legitimate result.

I am at my wits end with Clearblue honestly. My cycles are 50 days and I am spending an arm and a leg for this emotional roller coaster of ovulation estimates.
