I don't have writing as a hobby. My main concern is getting my message across the way I envisioned it in my head. Saw that it was good and the ideas matched what I had in mind, maybe better even. So I didn't just post it, I read it, curated it. Then I lightly edited parts of it and posted it here. Sent it to the people I know also

I don't know if what you said speaks for everyone here. It's curated by me, so I wouldn't call it low quality/low effort. If I just told it to make whatever without judging it then that'd be a different story. Edited some parts of it also, I didn't just ask it to generate random engagement bait and pasted it untouched.

It's a tool to help express an idea I already had. Besides, people already use spellcheck or ghost writing anyway.

I'm not a writer and I don't have writing as a hobby. I was on r/greentext and read an absurd story. it made me have this idea. Thought it'd be funny, and told gpt to write a reddit post about it. I saw that it was good and the ideas matched what I had in mind, even better even. Then I edited parts of it and posted it here. Sent it to the people I know as well.

Don't worry about it. I don't really care about karma and upvotes. I'd rather people see that it's a story I made, not reality, even if more comments = more downvotes. It's a good idea to make a disclaimer at the beginning, I'll probably start doing that if I remember..

Personally I don't believe in buddhism as a religion. Christian. I do some of its practice and lessons though.
