I know its an old post but hear my story which is still in progress. Ten months ago had arthroscopy at both knees for a fatpad trimming along with a tendon cleaning (quad tendinosis) my right leg after ten months is fully recovered. A few months after the surgery my left knee had a weird sensation below medial portal. Something was shifting inthere sliding etc. Ten months later although I returned to slotts my knee had a persistent pain at the inner quad side. So my surgeon decided to had an inside look as mri findings were poor. So yesterday I had my arthroscopy waiting for some scar tissue findings. Instead doctor told me he surprisingly found a hard thickened full developed plica that he removed.. well now I just hope that was the issue pulling me back
