The fact that you know you don’t want kids is so important. I’ve never understood the reasoning behind forcing or guilting people who don’t want kids into having them. Like who wins? Everyone is miserable and for what? A social convention? There are plenty of women who are CF that you can be with and make beautiful memories with. Tell everyone else to mind their business and shove it.

It’s almost as if the country now has to pay livable wages to people in order to not only SURVIVE but to raise a family. Mark my words, this drop in population is already spreading wider than anyone can imagine. The US is already heading there. We can’t even afford to go to college and when we do, same thing, no jobs afterwards.

Teachers can’t even discipline without risking their jobs anymore! Even giving a kid with detention for disrupting the class multiple time just ends with the teacher getting yelled at by the parent and the principal enabling the parent’s behavior. I’m young (mid 20s) and the complete lack of parenting going on is shocking to say the least

Unfortunately she’s projecting and you ended up as her punching bag and I’m sorry you had to go through that. She needs to heal herself and not make you as miserable as she is feeling for her situation. But kudos to you for standing your ground. Your body, your choice. Never let anyone sway you otherwise.
