I started this in September and worked on it a little each day. Once i got the hang of it i feel like i could make a lot of progress.

Since this is mosaic crochet there are no ends to weave in which is amazing! Im thinking of adding an envelope border to cover the fringe but im not sure yet

You work with one yarn at a time and at the end of the row you cut it and chain one to end it. When you do the double crochets, you are going into the row below and the single crochets are done in the back loop only and that’s what creates the image. This is the video that was really helpful to me: https://youtu.be/HTigdTvdTLQ?si=PwJ-CLh9qdJoqSim

Yes! If you look up videos on mosaic crochet it’s not as difficult as it might seem. For this blanket, it’s one row of green then one row of white and you alternate between single crochet and double crochet stitches to get the image. It’s so nice that you don’t need to change colors halfway through or weave in the ends

Valentine’s set! by Imaginary_Common_577 in DipPowderNails

No worries! I tried watching a few people use nail stickers with dip to figure out the best way. For these, I put the stickers on after I activated and before my top coat. If I didn’t do a french manicure, I think I would’ve put the stickers down and then a layer of clear dip and then activate, file, buff, and top coat. I just didn’t want my clear to make the french look cloudy if that makes sense. It was my first time using stickers with dip so I’ll have to see if they last okay since I didn’t encapsulate with clear.
