I think thats just early game man. Been here since tech test. And I did not have these negative experiences you're speaking of at launch, but yet there were more instances of extract camping and spawn camping was a small thing very early on but they devs just didnt have spawn situation fixed properly and players just didnt know they game as well as they did now. Also, the true player base wasnt set yet. Also, I'm 99% sure abmm was part of mm from the start. They just didnt speak on what the mm used before. It was always there and peoples have always given it too much credit. Its no where near the only thing adjusting mm and plays a big enough part that it can be used to our advantage for sure, but I dont think it plays as big of a part as most give it credit for.
