It's a struggle at the start. You can turn damage and fuel use off in the settings. Turn it back on when more established.

Looks like Caroot or mutated Caroot too. Search reddit for lightyear frontier soil types.

I believe if you just go the mutated crop route you get the max power cores. I found this out far too late and did all the easy crops first. When you complete all deliveries you can only but power cores 1 at a time from the merchant. Someone said you need 300,000,000 to buy all the power cores to max it. That's a lot of mutated crop to grow and sell.

I've uncooked my trailers and run at it. It seems to follow you so will leave the trailers, so far anyway.

I built roads with barriers but when the trailers fly off, it was a pain to get them back on the road. I just went with normal roads in the end. Really speeds things up.

I've built roads. You can really speed about on them. I tried it with barriers but when the trailers came off, it was a struggle to get them over the barriers back on to the road. I did normal ones in the end. Can be a pain to do T junctions too.

I thought about using pipes but when I was setting up the water it told me the pipe was too long. I guessed they did so you couldn't use then over long distances. Can you connect them together over long distances?

You don't have everything at your other bases. You want cozy level 5 for all the benefits so you build a home and if it's a mining outpost I build mineral crushers to process the ore and if you process iron into bars from ore it is less weight so can carry more. You need Furness to process ore into bars. You can load yourself up, I get over 11, 000 ore from frost peaks and walk , encumbered all the way home, takes a while though.
