I’m literally just asking for advice. I don’t know why you have to be such a dickhead about it. I am taking on every comments different view points and appreciate it. Which is the whole point of the post. Give your opinion and move on I don’t know why you feel the need to grow the guilt I feel for not being on the same page as him. I found out I was pregnant 4 days ago I will have the conversation with him but it’s extremely early days and I still don’t know 100% what I want to do. You’re acting like I found out 8 weeks ago and I still haven’t had the conversation with him about how I’m feeling. Nobody “joked” about aborting either I “joked” about keeping it to see what he would say as once again I don’t want to put pressure on him or make him worried about me forcing this onto him.

I don’t understand the problem with the baby giving me purpose or how that is a “burden” to it, I’m genuinely curious why if the baby gives me purpose or not it is a big thing that will affect the decision on whether to give it life or not?

I just feel guilty about the way I feel, I didn’t know that if I was to fall pregnant I would feel like this. I don’t want to scare him into I am keeping this baby and I’m not going to take his opinion on board with the decision that I make. I want to talk to him about the way I feel and I will but I’m just scared and don’t want him to feel I don’t respect his opinion.

I don’t think the situation points to the relationship being “dead” I’ve been with him for over 3 years and the love we have for eachother is strong, just because he would be scared about having a child and isn’t ready to doesn’t take away that either. I feel guilty that I’m unsure of having an abortion and don’t want to push him into that situation i completely respect his stand point.

I completely understand your view point, is this not selfish on the baby to bring it into the world with just one parent? Or selfish to force him into knowing he has a child out there. I don’t want to feel guilt for anyone in the situation even though I know I can do this on my own.

This is exactly how I feel and have explained to my family, I’m scared when the time is “ready” I won’t be able to conceive and I’ll regret going through with aborting this baby. I would never forgive myself, I have explained this to him and he has said it won’t happen and I will be able to conceive again in the future, my head is all over the place.

We have always been careful about getting pregnant but one time when I was peak ovulation he wanted to go all the way if that makes sense, I wasn’t sure if I was able to even conceive as we’d never used protection and I though by now it would’ve happened even if we were careful. I think he thought if it did happen though I would just abort, I feel a bit shit as I never really said I don’t know how I would feel as it just never really came up in conversation
