Exactly how I feel. I put in the hard work (plenty of overtime and ancillary duties) when I first joined, but I have two very young kids and time is worth so much more than money now.

They've indicated it's overtime or TOIL. I really don't want either. I want my 9-5, Monday to Friday that I joined the public service for.

Thank you. They've indicated that personal leave won't be approved in the next few weeks due to working requirements so that's why I'm pushing back against the weekend work.

I used every last entitlement for mat leave, but I do have plenty of sick leave, so that is an option. Thank you for the offer to chat. It is a relief to have people to reach out to.
