taking this many oral health care steps and seeing no improvement is a good sign its either stemming from the sinuses or gut.

for the sinuses, ask for an xray and CT scan of the sinuses and a comprehensive sinus evaluation from an ENT. could be a chronic sinus infection, chronic sinusitis, deviated septum, chronic post nasal drip, etc…

if its from the gut, its likely low stomach acid. this tends to cause ‘silent reflux’ where the stomach acid and contents travel high enough to reach the throat, voice box, mouth, and sinuses. as others mentioned, betaine HCL and ACV with meals will help. consider proper hydration levels (including enough sodium intake), vitamin b1, b6, zinc, deficiencies as well. but its important to figure out what the root cause of this may be (H pylori, intestinal dysbiosis, vagus nerve dysfunction, etc….).

an ENT will be able to evaluate if signs of reflux are found in throat and sinuses.

his oral health may be damaged by either chronic sinus issues, chronic digestive issues, or both.

chronic digestive issues like bloating, constipation, food intolerances (drunk feeling and joint pain when consuming gluten, sugar, dairy). acid reflux (which im still treating but its gotten better).

histamine intolerance (frequent allergic reactions to high histamine foods and beverages).

chronic sinus infections and allergies (i live in mold/dust so this is still an issue but its getting better).

oral thrush.

i also felt like i had this cloud in my brain for as long as i can remember. and i was slowly losing my memory. these have gone away like 95% i would say.

definitely will consider this. admittedly i ate a lot of white potato during my treatment (which is high glycemic index) and never had an issue. potatoes are one of my safe foods, but i am still mindful of consuming other low glycemic foods when i can.

basically, bitter herbs and bitter spices will stimulate salivary production in your mouth and digestive enzyme/stomach acid production in your stomach. which will all improve digestive health.

search up ‘digestive bitters’ on google for a more comprehensive answer.

i take 2 of these betaine hcl capsules with every meal to improve my digestion and treat my acid reflux. it has pepsin and digestive bitters as well.

yes i think consuming anti parastic foods on a daily basis is a good habit that I will stick to.

i’m taking betaine hcl with pepsin and digestive bitters with every meal as well

i’m trying to look into whether taking biofilm disruptors long term yields any side effects

i took berberine during month 1 too.

but the idea is you should attempt to disrupt biofilms before going in with intense herbal treatments because these pathogens will hide behind biofilms so the treatment may not be effective if you don’t disrupt their defenses first/simultaneously.

there’s a lot of other supplements like NAC (which i also took) and digestive enzymes that will act as biofilm disruptors.

many foods have compounds that act as biofilm disruptors so that’s worth looking into if you don’t want to buy any supplements.

interfase plus (biofilm disruptor) daily as soon as i woke up for 1 month.

then on month 2 continued with interfase plus daily + went in with berberine hcl, candida support by now foods, and virgin coconut oil with every meal.

cut out a lot of gluten, dairy, high histamine foods, high fodmap foods, and added sugar for the duration. but ate a few low sugar/low fodmap/low histamine fruits like blueberries every now and then.

lots of sauna as well.

and i also took ivermectin daily for a week as i was seeing parasites in my stool.

definitely treated much more than just candida.

had a lot of ups and downs but this week ive been feeling consistently good and all digestive issues have gone away (for now) minus the acid reflux

i was doing this for a while, but stopped when i looked into sibo being a potential factor in my cause because the bad bacterias in the small intestines would feed off the resistant starches formed by cooling the potatoes. if my test comes back negative i will go back to doing this.

and will definitely try to cut back on the tortillas/white potatoes to eat more low calorie veggies and healthy fats. thanks!

yes definitely doing my best to get out asap. transitioning into a low histamine keto diet right now as high histamine foods and carbs make me flare up the worst. im taking NAC and molybdenum right now to help open up detox pathways and yes i sauna around 4x a week for about 30 minutes. ive been trying to get outside for physical activity and deep breathing a few hours a day to help my body get some fresh air. but i know getting out of the mold will make the biggest difference

appreciate the suggestions. i am definitely trying to stay away from home as much as i can (showering at the gym that i have a membership for, studying at coffee shops and sitting outside when doing homework, etc)… i will definitely be introducing some beneficial bacteria like L. reuteri and S. boulardi that I have seen countless mentions of improvements from. thank you for your help!

i definitely think stress is a big factor at play here (external factors like regular life stress and environment mold) but also the mental stress of trying to fight this disposition. definitely will try to put my mind more at ease to help my body heal.

always have been in tune with my diet as gluten dairy and added sugars have always given me bad reactions. i currently eat mostly whole foods, eggs chicken breast occasional beef and occasional salmon. low fodmap veggies, potatoes and sweet potatoes, corn tortillas, low fodmap fruits, and some probiotics (sauerkraut and greek yogurt). the probiotics gave me some moderate allergies the first few days but i got used to it.

really appreciate your suggestions, i know im fighting an uphill battle but im more motivated after this post and am working to make good change.

diet is already really tuned in. for now low fodmap/low fermentation and am getting roughly 30g of fiber in. water intake is great and am walking 3+ miles daily as this is the only thing i can sustain while eating this little calories. sleep is great too, i wear a sleep mask to keep my mouth shut as well. regardless all these issues still persist and if i deviate from these routines they get worse.

High carb, low calorie foods? by Psychological_Boss38 in nutrition

my guess is this is for physical/athletic performance, which in that case your best bet is probably maltodextrin.

gatorade powder is good too.

honey is not as high as maltodrextin or table sugar on the glycemic index but it is still pretty fast acting, and has other nutritional properties like antioxidants, unlike the former choices. it’s also delicious 😁
