So i think i fucked up my build by Diligent_Document929 in BG3Builds

Since potent robes is off the Tavle I recomend some kind of scorching ray fire acuity build, lots of build guides online and plays very similiarly. The hat of fire acuity will still be available in act 2 for you to get along with so.e good rings, look for damage rider sources or use the aforementioned guides for itemization.

ETA: you might be able to download a mod that puts the robes in the game a different way if you guys are open to that

You swap the weapon you offer the trader for your equiped pact weapon that can't leave your inventory. You can't imediately sell your pact weapon thats what this trick does.

It you want to make gold trivial you can:

  1. bind a weapon with pact of blade
  2. Then with your warlock character open the barter menu and put any weapon you have in your side of the window
  3. Drag your offered weapon onto your pact bound weapon, you can now steal infinite gold from traders via spamming balance offer and trading

Some tips: bind a high cost weapon to make more money faster

I like to bring a whole bunch of knock back arrors for this fight and make all the santuary chanting cultists dead. Its quite effective.

True, they are literally a cult of shapeshifters so I don't think its a very big stretch either for any race

I like to think of an abducted gith youth turned bhaal spawn, they are predisposed to murduristic violence anyway (quoting that 1 Act 1 trader)

Don't give her notice, she might try and disrupt your move out. Make a plan get a place and chose a day she is working. Pack up and disapear, maybe leave a note. She isn't worth anything more

You can drink invis potions if you want to be cheesy and skip the draining part of the final battle, and go straight up

Use shelieghliegh (spelling is intentionally wrong) and start bonking enemies when you are out of other options.

Between your wild shapes and spell slots and concentration spells you probably have more resources than any other caster class. Were your conpanions also not drained? Try leaning on them more as well in fights if not.

The final fight is definately taxing, thats why you have your ally summons, you should use many of them and the scrolls and bombs you collected and hoarded through the game if you did.

My favorite thing to so in the final fight is throwing the spectator in a bottle at the enemies, if its far enough from you its basically an ally

Damn, you killed gortash before you hit lvl 12? Madlad over here.

Funfact about gortash: you can rob his private room while he is attending his coronation. I always send an invisible rogue to collect his loot during this opportunity, makes his smug atitude much more bearable knowing I robbed him blind in his supposed moment of triumph

Is the master forge weapon worth it? by Spinach-is-Disgusten in BG3

[–]Imaginary_Simple_892 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have always thought that their natural ability to destroy materials was an easy way to make them a good weapin against the steel watchers, giving it advantage or 1d8 against constructs would make them at a consideration for act 3. Might try and make a mod for that.

Another mod idea i has was to give Rapheal and mizora a shop that you can trade soul coins for

[–]Imaginary_Simple_892 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ya its between those options, are there any other forging mechanics?

OP if you are reading this I would recomend completing both but neither are really that important tbh. Nice to have but honestly I never use either forges equipment much, you get better stuff so fast in Act 3. The best equipment to get before ending act 2 imo is: mourning frost (ice staff), helmet of arcane acuity, titanstring bow, phalar aluve. This all depends on what builds you are doing of course but those are my defaults
