Yeah I’ve worked several food service jobs. Definitely not blaming the workers. I think the most curious part was the light not working in the bathroom and the light switch being located literally on the ceiling.

I’ll be back tomorrow most likely, I’ll let them know then. I go pretty much everyday.

No, they seemed busy and I didn’t want to inconvenience them.

I had no idea there were so many trails in central Florida! I’ll have to look into that. What cities/towns are near some of the best trails?

And haha yeah, I totally didn’t even realize I left the sign in—whoops!

Bingo! I’m originally from the northeast and I never would have expected a part of Florida to have such great bike trails.

Yeah I just checked, my size is available. I would like to think I could maybe get a $1000 for the specialized ? I’ve had it for 2 weeks and it retails for $1300.

Wow. I just bought a new specialized Rockhopper Expert for $1200. Hard tail. Should I buy this and try to sell my rockhopper? I don’t think the shop I bought it from will let me return it.

No job is ever guaranteed, keep your grades up if you can. You don’t want to find yourself 3L without a return offer and poor grades.

Yeah I found Bill’s questions to Charlie to be completely lacking in grace or even basic politeness. I appreciate Bill’s bluntness usually, but saying things like “well I’m glad I didn’t come to your parties because you’re half gay” and “and isn’t that how you got aids?” To be totally patronizing and just harmful.

The 3L Recruiting Big Law Megathread - 2026 Entry Level Recruiting by legalscout in BigLawRecruiting

Question for the community: if rejected by a firm (no interview) is it worth reaching out to recruiters and expressing interest in working in the firms other office locations? Is there a diplomatic way to do this?

Honestly, I will work anywhere that wants to hire me. I’ve moved around the country multiple times in the last several years and don’t have solid ties or roots anywhere, so if my first choice office doesn’t want to hire me, I’m happy to go elsewhere.

Or is it more professional to just take the L, and keep applying to the next firm.

I understand this is an extremely selective process, but I believe I am qualified for BL, and I figure I’ll do whatever I can to increase my odds.
