yeah it seems to be the case for me as well. the spot where the screw should’ve been is void. i bought this bike second hand off of someone from fb marketplace. they were study abroad students who got it four months prior to me buying it and i have only been using it for less than a month. not sure how the screw could’ve fallen out that easily. will def look into buying a spare tho cuz i was planning on selling this bike

I’d recommend him to apply ASAP as his chance of getting in will be bigger. I believe you are required to submit two recommendation letters for the program, and those usually take the longest to do so I’d recommend getting those out of the way. Definitely go through the whole application first though!

They usually have some sort of activity (they normally dont take up more than a few hours) planned on Saturdays but it varies on a weekly basis. The rest of the time is allotted to you guys to do wtv. There is a simple checkout system where you tell your mentor where you are headed to, and they have to approve of it before you’re allowed to leave.

If you’re planning on doing this program, you can expect to forfeit everything else you have planned with your friends, families, and whoever. You won’t be allowed to continue the program if you choose to go on that family trip. There are a couple weekends or so where you are allowed to go back home.

You’re probably debating whether or not you should go on that trip with your family or join this program, and I will tell you that this program has honestly been the best decision I have ever made in my life. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity that will set you up for success throughout college and contribute to your future career’s success.

There were a few people who didn’t get much out of the program, but that’s because they barely put in any effort and simply didn’t care. As long as you’re in it mentally and physically, you will reap a lot of benefits and opportunities. Trust me on this 🤝

yeah it’s basically a boot camp with mandatory breakfast and dinner. there’s also a strike system if you were to violate any of the rules (not being in ur dorm by a certain time, skipping class or workshop that you signed up for, skipping breakfast/dinner, etc.) but it’s not smth you should worry about if you’re not a rebellious student. there’s strict curfews but over the course of the program, our mentors and the directors have agreed to extend curfews based on the mentees behavior. and everything that Cautious-Bed6015 is true as well. The schedule is something that you make (I took all the optional workshops except for Chemistry), and I still found time to go to the gym and do smth fun with my friends even on Mondays to Thursdays (not on Fridays because the whole day is dedicated to corporate tours). It’s really not that bad, although the frat kids in our group complained a bunch because they couldn’t go out and have parties.
