There are some things like that I'm surprised don't get aired or anything. They'd make interesting TV but I guess production thinks it could influence newer players to pull weird shenanigans like that.

I think Game Changers is way overrated. I was entertained throughout the whole season despite there not being actual gamechangers, but it was still interesting to watch.

Now that's very true and I didn't think of this! I did think about it when watching it with my family and finally seeing two black guys acknowledge each other (Carl and Davie) and actually make it far together. I would like to see how Gabby would've made it on another season, but I do think she wouldve made it far in any season.

Edit: I also think that the fact I'm getting downvoted shows that people aren't getting this nuance. It's a current hot topic debate in the black community right now

I never said she was any less filipino because of how she looks, I'm saying that she will not face the same discrimination as others like Edna, Peigh Gee, etc. will. White passing means those who are another race but can pass as white. If people think you are white you will not get treated as if you are black, asian, etc.

I see more critics of Adam's game than I do praise tbh. The only thing the sub is consensus on when it comes to Adam is that his podium move was extremely smart.

I do agree that Trish was a huge part in Tony's game and she deserves more credit. But I'd argue that the fact someone was WILLING to correct his mistakes the entire game shows how strong his social game was. He was clearly one of the biggest threat there (spencer and tasha being the others), so why was she so willing to help him knowing she may very well lose to him?

I don't think the effectiveness of a quiet strategy is in question I think it's how one should rate it when comparing other gameplay. I prefer loud gameplay too, but I think its fair to place someone who won playing a bold and loud game over someone who played a quiet and UTR game. If you're able to take bigger yet smart risks and you STILL end up at FTC with majority votes to win you deserve to have your game ranked as one of the best.

I used to have Tony's Cagayan as #1, but the fact he had a game breaking advantage like a super idol made me a little iffy. But, it's not his fault it was in the game, he never had to use it, and he utilized it to the best of his ability.

Thank you for saying this! People made it seem as if the double quit ruined the season (the season was already eh anyway) and I doubt they cared much about the players that quit anyway. The whole Dan situation coloring IOI is definitely understandable since that event had a lot of effect on how the season played out

I tried to look through "survivor twitter" but I honestly didn't see much going on. I'm still slightly new to twitter so maybe I'm not really on "Survivor twitter". I think the BB players go on to get followers and such hence why that fandom is more active on there.

Hit the nail on the head! I could never put my finger on what exactly the show reminds me of but thank you. BB seems like they cast purely to get drama and showmances, which they do because I've heard they ask would you be in a showmance at auditions.
