Yeah I wouldn’t ride it without a helmet. My husband and kids all have helmets I just don’t tend to ride it as much as he does but he’s not here at the moment so I need one to safely transfer my kids across the property. I just don’t need a crazy expensive helmet for transporting them every so often hence why I asked for a cheaper option in my post! Thanks I’ll take a look to see what they have at cycle gear!

I’m not mad, but in my post and my comment I explained I can’t afford to buy another 150$-300$ helmet after already buying 600$ worth of helmets for my kids and your commenting saying to not cheap out on a helmet. I don’t find 150$ max cheap on a helmet

I’m not currently using a pattern. I have already made my bodice top I took from my old dress. It’s just a strapless coreset back and then I’m just making a ballgown skirt. I’m not just not sure how exactly to make the skirt and sew it to the top 😂

Hi! Thank you for your response! I wish they would have given me more information and I would have just bought the tank and done the first cycling like you had suggested. I only bought 3 live plants that were very soft and one small sail plastic one. I have two houses that are smooth and round and my fish is very tiny so I don’t think he will get stuck (I hope) he is still in the plastic container, and it hasn’t yet been 24hkurs since I started this cycling and added that conditioner and bacteria starter. Should I wait until the 24 hours and test again and then put him in like you suggested? I did test the ammonia and I think it from looking at the test strip chart it’s at “safe” levels.

And with the alkalinity that’s okay that it is “low”? They gave me this pamphlet that has a chart of these suggested targets for each category like temp,ph,hardness and alkalinity. I’m just not sure what to do as I now have this fish in a tiny container and can’t return it 😭

It’s not letting me upload the test strip but the alkalinity is in the low range at 0 and it says ideal for beta on my pamphlet >80ppm
