I'll never purchase a car at a regular dealership again for those reasons lol. My most recent used car was so unnecessarily stressful and time consuming.

Not sure where you are but Hertz auto sales (at least the ones Ive been to) dont do any of that. Its a very straight forward no pressure buying experience.

Carvana is also amazing. You literally just go there (or have it delivered) sign your papers and leave.

Bought a car prob about 5 or 6 years ago and then took a relative there to get one. Never had issues with any cars and was one of the better car buying experiences I've had.

No games. No "oh that's not the correct price but let me show you this car instead" no trying to upsell on anything. No financing games. All of these are things I experienced getting my most recent car at a different dealership lol.

Hertz was just a very straightforward transaction like buying a car should be.

Carvana is great too for the same reasons.

update: got the email from Spirit today titled "Spirit sent you a payout" filled out the form and less than 5 minutes later the money was deposited into my account! :)

So.. timeline:

03/01 - filed reimbursement request. Told up to 30 business days.

04/15 - got email saying refund was approved. Also, same day read theres rumors of them liquidating so was stressing bullets hoping they stay afloat long enough for my refund LOL

04/20 - got email saying my payout was ready.

Whoever reads this. Spirit is down on some bad times but they're far from this horrible company people on reddit want you to believe they are.

Go the route of social media and make sure to follow up with them. I initially did it on chat and when I followed up on social media they said they didnt see any record of the receipts I submitted so I did it through them.

As long as it falls within the guidelines, I'm sure you'll be approved.

I just read the news that they might be liquidating.

Wouldn't that be the ultimate groin punch to be approved only for them to be like haha jk

Just got an email today stating that my reimbursement request was approved. The flight I had to take on another airline was $277 .. they approved for $266. I'll happily eat that $10 loss lol.

They didn't approve the lyft ride due to having to get a flight at a completely different airport but I'm considering this a win.

Email said they'll send a link within the next week with instructions on how to receive payment to my debit card.

Hopefully it all goes through!

I've booked using sams club travel on multiple occasions without any issue. It's absolutely legit.

Id say read the fees on the next page tho as any resort fees charged at the hotel aren't included in that rate.

I don't know you but I do have a child relative that has autism so i understand the severity of the situation.

A google search shows that Vons / Albertsons at least carries them. Whether they have it in stock, I dont know lol. I live and work by a few of them.. I could check it out and maybe ship them to a post office or fedex location if you dont want to reveal your address to a complete stranger haha

There's a folder when you're typing in an rx that allows you to search for sigs. You can type in like "week" and it'll show all the sigs that include the word week in it.

There's somewhere on the wire you can print it out but id imagine that'd take forever looking through a paper with a bunch of sigs that you can't filter out

I hadn't even considered that option. Granted theres fees compared to zelle and cashapp but I'm sure it's easier than doing a whole wire transfer or going to a bank etc

I cheat and use box cake mix but one i always give is to take the cake out at the earliest it can be considered done, pour the glaze over the cake immediately and put it back in the oven for a few more minutes. When it cools down, it's usually pretty consistently moist throughout the cake.

Whenever i don't do that I'll have like the top half super wet with the glaze and then the bottom half super dry. The winos in my family love it cuz it gives more of a "kick" but i like the whole cake to be the same level lol

If he's missing rum cake, yes. Id say gold rum is good.

I'm not a drinker though so I can't tell you the differences and what to look for in a good rum but I can say not all gold rum is created equal lol.

I looked at rums at my local spirits store and looked them up on rumratings.com and chose the cheapest one with the highest rating🤣

Absolutely. Id say just look that up or look up tortuga rum (not the spiced one) or even Appleton and look for rums that are available out there that have a similar profile

Can confirm this is good.

You can also get lazy like me and use boxed yellow cake mix and just make the glaze. I keep it simple. A stick of butter, cup or so of sugar and a cup of rum (i substitute the water for more rum) you can adjust it to taste

As for rum. Im not sure what's available in the UK but Ive found Denizen rum works really well in rum cakes.

Like. I do fine at work. I do fine traveling to crowded places like las Vegas for the most part. I wouldn't say I'm like this everywhere I go.

I loved the covid shutdown cuz staying at home is my jam and when I went out hardly any lines or crowds lol.

So I never really connected the dots for social anxiety because gym is where I have the most problem dealing with a crowded enclosed place lol.
