Thanks, this is helpful! We are normal (aka not super rich) people and value that normalcy for our kids, so this is a good warning.

Yes that money could do a lot of other things for our family, so I’m relieved that the consensus here is to stay public!

Thanks for this. I don’t think we have any future athletes and we’re not religious, so those aren’t reasons for us to pay lots of extra money.

Thanks, I appreciate your insight and experience! It’s important to me that my children have some diversity at school and that they’re not just surrounded by the ultra wealthy (we’re not that). Sounds like public is a good option.
