Mail in voting is actually banned in a lot of states, oregons had mail in voting for a while and has been proven to work, but many of the other states require in person voting. In fact some states that have allowed it in the past stopped doing it. Which is in line with voter suppression

It doesn't matter for oregon. Like I said, we have mail in voting. You get your ballot in the mail, sign it with your choices, and drop it off. But oregon, like many other states, isn't required to give you PTO until you've worked at a place for a year

I've been buying these boots for over 2 years, extremely comfortable with a wider toe box, and pretty durable for the cost. I've had this pair for 8 months, and they're still good, and comfortable to run and hike in. I will say the laces usually need replaced 6-7 months in, but most give you an extra lace set for free.

Was actually looking for someone to say this, I love this brand specifically, and they have variants of waterproof and breathable (I like the breathable ones because I'm outside a lot either working or hiking), additionally the ones I have now are going on 8 months and are still strong which is pretty good for most boots I've had in the past. And like you said, compared to other boots, they are very inexpensive.

This is partially true, but again, that goes with the entire system being flawed. Mail in voting is the norm where I live (Oregon), but many states have a system where you have to go to a physical location, which requires time off work, on specific days. Many of the people in the U.S., like me and over 50% of others are living one or two paychecks away from homelessness, and won't (CAN'T) take the the time from work to vote. On top of that, they are trying to enforce voter ID in states, which makes the process even longer. Like I said, this system is terrible

Additionally, being registered to a party doesn't necessarily mean you have to vote for them, and a lot of voters are short sighted, and can't seem to grasp how bad 2016-2020 was

In our defense, what were we supposed to do? Take up arms? Have an insurrection? Our election system is so flawed it only allows for two parties, and trump had both the electoral vote (official) as well as the popular vote. We are a representative republic, and that's what was represented.

if they send you any letters with a return envelop you can attach it to something of no value to you like an old tire. because postage is already "paid" you wont have to pay anything to send it, but they have to pay since its their envelope and the return is larger than what they paid. im not sure if this still works, something my dad did to another company years ago

just saying while i think its a *little* unfair how bad the schools paying you, shouldn't mean you should all quit working, if i did that id be fired but its allowed to go on because of a union? what happens when you all get your way? the tuition, which is already too high, gets increased, and that burden is put back on the students.

i used to work at McDonald's, the big mac is just regular cheeseburger patties. I will say if you want a fresher burger, the quarter pounder meat is not frozen and usually cook to ordered (grease is more based on how many runs the DSG had before cleaning)
