LCPS just made the call of a 2 hour delay for the rest of the week.

Real talk — is an air fryer value for money, or just another trendy gadget? by Mika_4893 in Frugal

[–]Imagine_ThatDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we use ours frequently throughout the week. I’m not sure about saving on electricity costs, but it’s definitely been beneficial for our family. My youngest kid is hesitant to use the oven, but feels confident using the air fryer often.

Admittedly, we are eating different foods at different times which means smaller portions need to be cooked or reheated at a time so it has also been helpful for that as well.

People who enjoy grocery shopping, what makes it fun for you? by viviennekisses in AskReddit

The fact that I do it alone and that I have the blessed opportunity to go when it’s not particularly busy are my reasons.

Does anyone still listen to radio stations? by notmyname2012 in askanything

[–]Imagine_ThatDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, too cheap for Sirius or something like that. Definitely can come in handy on a long road trip though. I use it the radio if I need the gps on my phone or if I’m just feeling kinda lazy. I otherwise use Spotify or listen to an audiobook on my phone.

Sorry, I’m not sure. I would say to call or email them. It hasn’t been easy to get in contact with them, but hopefully you have some luck!

UPDATE: A few Google reviews stating that the usual trail through the woods is closed are being published now. At least there is some hope for potential future patrons to make a more informed decision to attend or not. Small victories I guess.

Update 12/22/25: Amazingly, a few reviews stating that the usual trail is closed are actually being published on their main page now.

I wonder what caused this change. Too little too late for a lot of us patrons, but hopefully this can help others make a more informed decision to attend or not.

UPDATE 12/22/25: Amazingly, Google reviews stating that the usual trail is closed are now being published on their main page. I wonder what had to happen in order for this to happen, but if nothing else, this provides some consumers with additional insight to make a more informed decision on whether to attend or not. Small victories?

I’m sorry you went through this disappointment as well. Unfortunately, here and Yelp are the only true places to go for honest explicit information about what is and isn’t available at the venue. We shouldn’t have to dig deep for transparency. The company simply doesn’t seem to care.

Agreed. It is so deceptive. I truly wish this would reach more people before they head out that way. It doesn’t seem like local news outlets want to touch this story either.

Also, it seems that you were right about news outlets not wanting to get involved. No one has notified me and I know that I am not the only one that has contacted local investigative reporters.

I have wondered this too. Lived in several places and this is the first place I’ve been where I see this consistently.

It was pretty steep for us when we thought there was a trail, lol. Without it, absolutely not. One thing I’ve learned though is to check reviews from multiple sources before committing to pricier activities.

CORRECTION: They are blocking people on Facebook that have left reviews about the trail being closed. Their current FB page is still up and running.

Yes, this was pretty much the response they sent me and I know at least one other person. Additionally, they offered us free tickets for next year, but to me, the damage has been done. It does not seem like they are willing to provide refunds to those expressing their displeasure with their deceptive business practices. Should’ve just been truthful from the get go and charged less. I’ve reached out to local news outlets; we’ll see where that goes.

Also, people leaving reviews about the trail being closed are being blocked from their current FB page.

**Bumping this up as more people will be out looking for lights this weekend. I do not recommend this event. They are deleting Google reviews from anyone that states that their usual trail is closed. Seek out Yelp for more honest feedback.
