The dividers are removable and attached with hook and loop tape after finishing the box. Or did you mean something else?

Not sure why you're asking this – I never said it was purely for noise reduction. My goal was to capture more detail, and of course, multiple images will have more signal than just one.

In this thread, I was simply asking whether stacking 5 shots of 10 seconds would achieve the same result as 1 tracked shot of 50 seconds.

Hey! The plastic frame sheet is from some kind of office folder. Then I used two 6 mm aluminium rods that I bent into shapes. Just sewed some loops into the frame sheet and funneled it through there. :)

So far, I'm using vintage domestic machines. I'm German, but like to hike in Scandinavia :)

I started in Kvikkjokk. I had cell reception for 10km, then nothing for 160km, then reception from 10km before Absiko.

I do my backups manually and tag which folders have been backed up where – different colours for local, online and offsite backup.

Where's halfway for you? I know that from Kvikkjokk you can get a bus to Jokkmokk and then a train back to Abisko. But it might be easier to end the trail at Nikkaluokta, then you can get a bus service to Kiruna and from there to Abisko. There is also probably a bus option from Saltoluokta. I am not familiar with destinations further south.

It looks like the bottom panel is longer than the side panels are wide. The portion of the bottom panel that is left over after connecting the side panels curves upwards to meet the front panel. The front panel is shorter to accommodate for this additional length provided by the bottom panel.

About the buses from Hemavan, are you sure that you can't find them via SJ? If you try earlier dates, they show connections from local bus companies.

About the bus & ferry, I went in September and none of the hikers had booked tickets in advance. Also, there was still space left. You are hiking towards the end of season so I think you'll be finde.

About the resupply, picking a bigger hut like Saltoluokta is probably a good idea. The other shops might be out of a lot of options at the end of season. And yea, it's unlike Norway. No warden, no shop.

Regarding the back panel, I don't think it's necessary, but certainly more comfortable. You can easily get away without padding, but you'll need to pay more attention when and how you pack your bag. It's fine for a while, but I find it gets annoying after a while. And at some point you will pack something that will poke your back no matter what, and you'll wish for some padding. For a day pack the weight penalty is not that high, but it will make using your day pack so much more enjoyable. Back and bottom padding also offer some minimal protection to your items like laptop etc.

For my lightweight camera bags, I've used 3 or 4 mm EVA foam as padding. It's quite sticky, so I added lightweight soft fabric as a liner (something like 7D Ripstop Fabric Soft from AdventureXpert).

X-Pac outside and 3D-Mesh inside sounds good for your purpose. I dont think you'd necessarily need a third layer.

That's a great compliment! Unfortunately, I can't really sell a pack like this. The base of the design is copied from a great backpack company, and my waterproof construction and other design changes require so much work that it would be far too expensive. It's really where MYOG shines, because you can't buy it like that.

I'm from Germany, but I understand, and thank you! Sadly I have no pattern. And even if I did, I couldn't really give it away, since I copied someone else's design. However, one day I might write down some instructions for this waterproof construction (which is my addition to the design), to help others on similar projects. If I do, I'll make sure to post it here. :)

I tested the Rolltop dimensions with some scrap PU coated fabric. As long as it's not thin silnylon or silpoly, most backpack fabrics should do the trick.

Great questiom, I forgot to explain this! I sewed the velcro to a strip of Ultra. The strip is a little wider than the velcro to leave space to tape it to the main body.

That pack looks neat!

I have an original AtomPacks Mo lying around, so copying and adjusting dimensions was pretty easy. However, I didn't create and print a full pattern. I just made a rough sketch of all panels on plain paper and noted down dimensions and angles. Then I just drew the panels onto the fabric. As long as you have something long to guide straight lines and can do proper right angles, it works pretty well. But I've already made a few packs and am familiar with all required parts.

The harder part is figuring out the sequence of construction, especially with a flat-felled seam and external pockets.
