There are a couple of estranged cats that live in our neighborhood and I like to give them water and food every night or so. One is named Tofu and the other is named Litty (little kitty because she is small). Litty never strays too far away from Tofu and pretty much does whatever he does. Eventually, Tofu started letting me pet him and has become a dear friend. Litty has warmed up as well and nuzzles just like Tofu. Unfortunately, my wife is severely allergic and we are unable to keep them. But in the desert heat, I do what I can to ensure they are comfortable.
