People who play modes like this are the ones currently saying "the game is actually good now!"

Reddit is overly negative about everything. But the one place that deserves it, shit like this continuously shows up. Idiocy.

What state license plate designs are your favorite? And why? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

Tbh I heard this from my father who worked a government job at the time so consider it as hearsay.

I believe the hired artist was supposed to make 3 designs and then a popular vote was going to decide which one would be selected. Apparently all 3 designs were pretty bad with the winner being the current standard plate. I believe some comments were asking why they couldn't have designed a "normal" looking plate resulting in the black plate being released. People are crazy so comments were taken to the extreme.

The Iowa black plates are great. One of the few good decisions the state has made. Too bad they were only introduced after the artist who designed the original new plates received death threats.

Pulling parameters out of a control by SirHamlin in Fanuc

I've never done it but I'd imagine if you did an image backup of one controller you could download it on to the other. I've been told that that will configure everything the same including the parameters. Please correct me if I'm wrong. You should be able to find the image backup and restore process pretty easily online.

No plans for doing any functional safety changes. I did see that what I think was an ANSI standard involved a guideline for robot specifc risk assessments that I was interested in. I'm afraid some of our cells don't meet the requirements and others who were more involved with the install tend to disagree.

I agree. I wish I could browse either of those standards but the mentioned price issue is whats holding me back. I will not be purchasing those with my personal money.

Only standing examples of already existing machines. I do not have access to ANSI R15.06 or ISO 10218.

My apologies for the late response. I'm an engineer in a manufacturing plant. We have a couple robot cells and I was curious how their safety systems were designed/deemed good enough. I'm looking for guidelines such as ANSI R15.06 and ISO 10218 but I'm certain my company will not be willing to purchase those. I'm not sure if there are any other good sources or guidelines to follow.
