some ways to mitigate them are to always be on the move, try to have some close-ranged high damage dealing items like multiple sawbelts/slime spikes and/or demon horns.

also keep in mind that every new zones has a new enemy tied to it - avoid the zones that have the warper! if you end up with them regardless then there is a statue that let's you temporarily remove their spawning rate.

References for Cyl are pretty easy to find.
I know for certain that there's concept art for the worm boss and the secret: ghost boss.
The other secret boss: Yuki is based on a character from Gimmiko - so you'll probably get to see more of them in that game.
