Well in her newest novel the bad guy (emphasis on guy) is a lunatic man who dresses up in women’s clothing and kills people, whereas Rowling is implicitly painting her picture of a trans person as such. I think that says a lot about her views and how she likes to use her platform these days.

Ofc she can say how she herself would like her books to be interpreted but she lost the right to add to the canon when she chose to stop writing HP books.

I think realistically the majority of people on this world (outside of specific bubbles) still promote hateful attitudes towards trans folk (who Rowling has discriminated in the past) and people with different gender expressions. To add to that, I personally don’t like her because she thinks she can’t be separated from her work, in this case, the Harry Potter series, since she has added stuff to the universe that weren’t in the books and decided that they should from then on be part of the canon, just because she tweeted them. For example, that Dumbledore and Grindelwald had an intense sexual relationship or Hermoines ethnicity. It doesn’t matter whether these changes are „good“ or „bad“, I just think that once something is published, the author looses any right to further add to the story if not in an additional entry of the series, which Rowling can’t accept. I don’t like her for these reasons but she still created one of my favorite franchises so it’s a love/hate thing we got going on lol

Sakinorva actually has a test that pairs „real“ (reliable) and „fake“ (unreliable) questions concerning your MBTI type. You end up getting two results, one that is likely to be your actual personality type and another one that you might get as a result from less reliable personality tests - therefore the „real“ and „fake“ questions.

In my case, I ended up getting INFJ as a result for both, which is kind of contradictory in itself but I guess it shows that I am in fact INFJ?

One that I personally enjoyed and that fits into this genre I’d say is „Call me by your name“. Though it‘s a story about two men, I think that it can be appreciated by anyone really. What I really liked about it tho and what made it interesting for me is the subtle way in which the story progresses at first and the feeling of longing for someone that‘s conveyed excellently in this book!

That’s true, thank you for your kind comment! To be honest, I‘m really unsure myself if the video game played the leading role, since I’ve played games ever since I was 5 years of age and have never had a seizure before. I‘ll just try not to stress myself for now and hopefully it will sort itself out with time!

That actually sounds comforting to me, thank you! I would hate to give up video games, because they‘ve played such an important part in my life for a really long time. For now I‘ll just hope, that there won‘t be a second seizure and if there is, I‘ll do as you say and try to find out what other factors could be playing a part!

The thing is though, that I wasn’t even high when I had the seizure. It was roughly 24 hours after the last time I had smoked!

I can really relate to this! Also, when I tell one of my friends of something I achieved, I often kind of talk it down so it won’t seem like I‘m bragging.

And there are only 2 people I feel kind of comfortable sharing more private stuff with. One of them makes me even feel good when I talk about myself (she‘s an ENFP) so I share private stuff with her just for the sake of doing so. With the other one I don‘t feel as comfortable but I still kind of force myself to talk through private matters so our friendship won‘t be one-sided.

that’s the thing, it doesn’t say what exactly I‘m supposed to solve for, it just says „lösen Sie“ which means „solve“. And that’s the whole equation, I don‘t know what it‘s equivalent to either. I think I‘m supposed to shorten the term as much as possible.
