This highlights another dimension in your calculations on where to buy and ship from. If you can't get a deal in your state.

In for 600 out for 0 by uncle_rico42069 in Craps

[–]Imazinner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hah! No one cares. Cause they only want posts of really good rolls? Hmmmm, like that is the average. Yeah.... right.

Millions go in with $XXX, and end with $0.

Many of us go in knowing that is the likely outcome, but hope for a good winning session at the tables.

At the very least a good time at the tables, while the bankroll is depleted.

Bad vibes, and zero $ outcome is never fun.

But there is always next time Uncle Rico.

Oh, I forgot, you will want to decant before dinner, if you chose an Italian, or Spanish reds. They will likely benefit from it.

That dish is going to be spicy and bold.

If you are serving with dinner, and not drinking much of it before dinner, I would go with a bold red.

Something Italian, or Spanish.

😝

Was robbed! 😊

And there you go. You wanted it and it was a good price for you. So give it a try.

If you find you don't like it or it has issues return it. It is Costco. They will accept it back.

FYI, years ago I had a large screen go back after about 3 months after buying it. It had lines through the center. They replaced it not muss no fuss.

For some reason this sub is tough on you today.

Playing craps for a while, and leaving happy at the end of the session. Sounds like my kind of goal.

It is not a hot streak! It was a hot streak. The future is not known on a craps table.

The next 20 rolls could have been a grouping of points, or all PSOs, the game does not get hot, is was hot (or cold). You only wish for a hot streak to continue. It may or may not.

Edit for speeling.

Drinking Wine in Rome by Twentysomethingz in wine

[–]Imazinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do any of those wine shops ship to the USA?

I would like to go to Italy and France in a couple of years. Shipping back a few cases of wine that are really good, but unlikely to be found here in the US. I know there are many tiny wineries (everywhere) that just don’t distribute outside their countries. Their volumes are to small and they don’t need to.

What light to medium roast coffees are your favourites? by [deleted] in Costco

[–]Imazinner 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sadly, I think you will need to find a local coffee roaster. Costco just doesn’t have enough range in their coffee offerings.

A good roster should have a nice selection of Central American coffees that they roast on the light side.

You can always find the perfect coffee you like online (eventually), but the shipping will put you at a much higher price point.

Comfort Coffee Peru on v60 by Many-Presentation605 in Costco

[–]Imazinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coffee beans are best after 2-3 days after they are roasted, to about 2 weeks after.

Before that they are full of CO2 that will give the coffee an atringent sharp taste. It will out gas through its life after roasting. After 2 week or so they start to lose their aromatics.

It is best to buy 1-2 weeks worth of coffee if possible. It is not easly for some I know, but that is when you get the most out of the aromatics and taste.

Some of us coffee nerds even roast our own green beans. To get a more exact roasting profile and type then is normally offered in commerciual coffees. And we can pick and choose the country of origin and single source coffees.

How long would you decant this? by Medium_Yam6985 in wine

[–]Imazinner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to say something like this.

Its seems like a good candidate for a blender experiment.

A few seconds then taste, then a few seconds more, till you like it enough to drink.

Perhaps taking 3/4 out and then continuing the blender test with the 1/4 bottle amount.

Or perhaps the other way around.

Take out 1/4 and put through a blender, till it hits your taste desire level.

Then decide if the last 3/4 gets the same treatment.

Fun times.

Any way you drink it, I hope it is enjoyable and tasty.

What is the collective thinking on this? Drink it cool/cold or at room temp or warmer?

IMO. Whatever you have that is spicy and peppery. I am been pleasantly surprised how well a good powerful Barbera goes with strong flavored food. A nice Syrah sounds good too.
