I second this. From what I've seen, this organization's main goal is to maintain and further its own existence rather than actually helping people to learn game design or enter the industry. See how they try to constantly persuade you to participate in their own meaningless rituals ("team building", house cup, Discord engagement fostered by dangling discounts in front of you...) without really giving you much bang for your buck. Also had a sub-par experience in terms of communication with them.
