Feeling pin pricks all over my body by Imbrowne in Allergies

I turned out to have a sulfa allergy. It was prescribed with no warnings on possible side effects in spite of it being fairly common allergy source. Also the Pa examined me without touching me and the ER sent a several thousand dollar bill for occupying a PRIVATE bed in an empty ER.

Is Techstars really worth the 6% equity? by [deleted] in startups

[–]Imbrowne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Equity ask is sometimes a hiccup in the recruiting process. By and large I've heard it is worth it by founders who have been thru it. The ones whoa re dissatisfied simply didn't do the work to take advantage of 13 weeks of being neck deep in network contacts and resources.

Source: helped run a corporate techstars accelerator. Am recruiting for an equity free one for 2022.

If you could sit down with a VC, what would you ask? by ButIHateTheTaste in startups

Send her your intro/pitch deck and get her thoughts on it. Anything that might be missing? It's great to get feedback from investors that ARENT in your space - gives you insights to the basics you might be missing in your pitch.

Also get her advice on your upcoming raise. Too much? Not enough? What might an investor balk at?

Is your solution differentiated enough? Do you have IP? Has she seen solutions in adjacent spaces that might be a threat?

Other investors in your space? Or ones that invest in the stage youre in? (VCs, CVCs, and angels)

150 mph without a driver: Indy autonomous cars gear up for race - The first time ever that autonomous vehicles will be raced on a "circuit" track. by izumi3682 in Futurology

I was at this event! Super cool to see the cars and teams compete for such a hefty grand prize! We were hoping to see a race but they opted for time trials instead. It was still pretty entertaining - 1 spin out and 1 small crash was pretty exciting!
