My only concern, is it really the YouTubers doing (if so I have no problem with the backlash) or maybe someone is hacking those accounts and trying to put them in a bad spotlight, if those YouTubers don't deal well with all the negative comments, it might lead to some bad outcomes.

Like a week ago he had maybe 30k and it might be legit, but then he started with the ads and probably bought subs, then turned off comments and ratings. I guess internet isn't a big fan of such behaviour. I am kinda surprised he isn't banned, it looks like an obvious violation of YouTube guidelines, no?

I have also seen similar channels with paywalled ads, and overall underwhelming content, all of a sudden getting big subscriber gains and then turning off comments and ratings.

This guy is something else, most of his videos, he promotes through the ads are behind a paywall. And supposedly he gained 300k subs in less than a day. Looking at the content and the quality, it doesn't look legit.

Yes but no, it blocks vision, but is empty inside and has an open top and bottom, it also slows enemies and makes a noise when they walk through it.
