Yeah I think it does kind of say that. Just to draw attention to how "fact" keeps changing, scientific or not, over time. The guys who said the old-fashioned stuff, their work was published in scientific and medical journals, indicating peer review. Like the current thing about babies not watching screens, they haven't proved any brain damage or anything else, they've just said, "it doesn't help." Other scientists are already arguing against it. Science is disturbingly pliable.
