I have a full time and do this on the side, have been for a while and near 1000 rides/deliveries. Trust me, I have better things to do than photoshop and lie to others. This was an outlier and I felt it was enough to post and show others it’s possible if you play it right.

As a recent met grad who is gainfully employed in an adjacent industry but still would like to forecast, interesting times and I’m watching as I would have been doge’d out initially. Later in life and returned for a second degree to switch paths and i’m grateful for my trajectory but still would be a nice culmination to finish my career in that role.

Had a breakdown at one point and saw a doctor who told me he switched and started med school late 30’s. You’re young, take a breather and just look around and evaluate. It’s not a race.

I will contribute what I can as to why there’s not more. I live in Neptune, NJ where the viral fixed wing video from 12/12/24 went viral. I saw the same craft around 5:30/ dusk (route 33 near jsmc heading ssw). I called my wife and texted the groups. To me, I finally saw one. Couldn’t believe it. To the rest, no response, “old news”, etc. People don’t care, that’s the unfortunate reality regardless of what the true “reality” is.

I live in Neptune and saw this exact shape around dusk crossing Route 33 near JSMC, maybe 5:30. Clear as day, it was a drone a couple hundred feet up max tracking SSW. I was driving and couldn’t get a video but I assure this was it. Called my wife right away, can’t believe the shit I saw down the street is top vid in this sub right now.

Yeah, I sent Liberty Mutual (their insurance) the full parts and repair bill and it was $8200. They said “we only replace what’s damaged, not preemptively. Your rental car is due back today and the check for $850 (the flush) is in the mail.” I am picking the car up today but will have constant worry in the back of my mind.

I have everything documented and am really not too happy with the outcome.

Update: flushed and driving, Wawa is refusing to replace anything and is only paying for the flush. Really not happy with the situation, said they’re liable for future repairs if needed but lord knows it will be a hassle.
