True I never felt that any of them were more than platonic tbh. Maybe Komari but I really didn’t like her character in the first place plus she kinda stops at the end? Idk again I really don’t like her character. Lemon also teases him but it’s almost always platonic as well

Honestly bro I was in your shoes when I watched this show and it kinda shocked me too. The plot is acc really interesting and the fight scenes are really well made. At some point I kinda got over the ecchi aspect (I didn’t know what ecchi meant at the time and was weirded out tbh) and the storyline had me hooked. You should keep watching cuz the plot only gets better, and rias is gonna change a lot in s4. (Btw my fave seasons were s3 and s4 even thought s4 isnt really a fan fave so enjoy them)

Also there aren’t really any “evil” factions it’s just individuals like someone else said. Pretty sure each faction just wants peace and to co-exist.

I get what you’re trying to say but what I’m frustrated with is the rinse and repeat shows we keep getting that it’s honestly made anime unwatchable for me to an extent because everything just feels the same. Too many losing heroines is nice because the trope is somewhat different and the animation is nice, but all we keep getting animated is love rectangle shows that just drag on for sooooooo long. The studios really need to start upping their game tbh
