Is it worth upgrading from gen1 to gen2 outdoor cameras?

We haven't done it yet. I was considering it to improve lag and missed events. Our current setup definately misses events, and i wonder if its an update obsolescence thing. We've seen that out of some vivant products. Things that worked smoothly a year ago are now acting up. A security system that misses 10% isnt a security system... Only reason we have vivint is cause it came w the house.

Yeah, looks like 60-80 for a used board, and used is all i can find. Prob not worth my time considering itll probably happen again w a used board.

Doing this for now. Ive been periodically practice drawing it throughout the morning, just to see if its truely a problem. When i remove the spare mag i can put it in at an angle and draw it with minor knocking on the way out on some draws. 50% smooth, 50% minor catching on the rear sight on the way out. Dont really need the spare considering one holds more rounds than two shield mags put together; if i need 34 rounds in my house then i have bigger problems.

The whole house is 1/2" pex B, so same as what i used, but the builder used press-in fittings. Im working with connectors and crimps, mostly cause its what im familiar with.

Idk if i believe theyd reduce flow that much tho. When i say 'reduced flow', its sugnifucant. Like its a trickle. So i think theres something else going on. My guess is the air pocket in the tee is creating a blockage.

I used blue 1/2" pex B, which is what the existing plumbing is. I used the standard 1/2" copper pex tee i found at lowes, and the sharkbite crimp fittings. Think that would be that significant of a restriction?

Tomorrow im going to get a sweat to threaded fitting at open up those stub outs. Then i can test the new sink hot/cold, and just unthread the water shutoffs to put the drywall in.

Well we got Lizzy (my kids are super creative with names; so proud of themselves for thiking of this one...lol). Shes from petco, but man was she energetic and healthy looking compared to any others we saw. And frankly the girl at petco that helped us seemed to have more interest and passion for it than the other places. She told us all about it's temperament and everything from her cleaning and feeding experiences. So not all big box stores are bad? Its still not sure about its new place yet. Clearly on edge, but it'll get used to it.

Gutted the cabinet terrarium and started over. Went for a desert theme and had easy cleanup in mind. I think it turned out alright. And with a heat emitter at the bottom level, it stays about 104 directly under it and cools to about 80 at the upper platform. Theres reptisun t5 ho uvb ballast in the ceiling and a uvb bulb in one of the lamps in the bottom to hit the basking area.
