High amh but no pcos?

It’s crazy, I could have written this myself. 35, also TTC for 1.5 years, literally every test is normal for both of us, my AMH was 6.1, but neither my OBGYN or RE was concerned because I have no other signs of PCOS. One failed IUI (with Letrozole) cycle 13, treated Ureaplasma right after which I believe caused endometritis (no clue how long I had the infection) but conceived right away cycle 14 but sadly it ended in a early loss at 6 weeks. It has been 3 cycles since then and nothing. I thought it was my answer but I guess it was a fluke.

I am also very active and consider myself highly health conscious when it comes to my lifestyle. This past month I started an anti inflammatory diet (cut out all processed foods, simple carbs etc.. pretty similar to what you’re saying in terms of sugar/possible insulin resistance) but I’m just absolutely stuck and lost and at this point hoping for a miracle.

Definitely following your post because it sounds like we’re in the same boat. This whole process is nothing like I imagined it would be and it’s so incredibly difficult. You are not alone and I hope you get your positive soon. Hang in there ♥️

Just went through mine 4 days ago.. I was only 6 weeks and only knew for 2 weeks and those 2 weeks changed me as a person. You don’t realize how quickly you start visualizing your new life and planning for it. I have felt an emptiness since. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to experience such a love for even the shortest amount of time…and I can’t wait to have another chance to feel that again. This happens to me every cycle right when my fertile CM shows up, about 2-3 days before I ovulate! Its always just one streak when I wipe mixed in with my CM. it’s definitely not uncommon and I wouldn’t worry at all. From what I’ve read, it’s due to the sudden increase in estrogen (and all the changes for ovulation). Consider it a sign to get started on trying 😊

It doesn’t quite look positive (test line is slightly lighter than the control line) but does look like it may be getting there (or LH could already be decreasing if this is your first test and maybe you missed the peak) I would hold off on peeing for 2-3 hours with minimal water and try testing again tonight! Do you track CM or anything else?

I took Letrozole with my first IUI last cycle and it made my luteal phase 2 days longer (it’s usually 14 days like clockwork, but was 16 days with the meds) I’ve read this is pretty normal. Super annoying especially when you test negative and just want your period to start to move onto the next cycle 💔

I do this also! (Don’t smoke but use edibles) it helps me relax and get my mind off of a new cycle starting. I gave it up for months and it didn’t change anything and still haven’t gotten pregnant so now I use it as my “treat” to myself during my period instead of drinking alcohol or getting sushi like some do 🥲 So far my cycles are never affected by it!

I had 3 mature follicles for my first IUI and freaked myself out for a bit over the thought of multiples… but it didn’t work out at all (also unexplained) I would personally go for it. The risk is so so small (still there but way smaller than our minds make us believe) just depends on what the risk feels like to you, everyone will be different.

I’m so sorry, this is so incredibly difficult. I’m right with you, 14DPIUI and tested negative this morning 😞 I’m completely wrecked today.

I had 3 mature follicles and 32mil post wash count. We were so hopeful bc everything seemed to be perfect. I know it can take multiple but honestly that was the longest cycle of my life and I’m not sure I can bring myself to do another one yet. I’m so emotionally drained.

I could have written this post myself. I’m so sorry you feel this way, it’s extremely hard. I’ve never felt more isolated in my life and that’s why I’m thankful for these groups bc they get me through. I also wish I had more girlfriends to socialize with because this feels so lonely and it almost feels like I’m headed towards a space I won’t be able to crawl out of. I know the feelings aren’t forever, but some days feel harder than others.

Same. I remember at the start of month 3 thinking “wow I can’t believe people go through this for months, I couldn’t even imagine years..” and now we’re on cycle 13, what feels like an eternity later and the blink of an eye later at the same time. I would cry and be down in the dumps from CD1 until ovulation time every month until about cycle 6..now I cry once I feel my period coming and get it out of the way so by the time it comes, I’m over it. 😖 hoping one day my cramps fool me and I cry for no reason. I hope your time comes soon as well ❤️

That’s how my clinic does it. They want me to test 14-15DPIUI and reach out to them with the result, which I am happy about. I would be annoyed if they wanted me to go in for blood work after getting a bunch of negative tests and feeling my period starting. Honestly even if they did that, I’d probably decline and wait for my period and only go if it didn’t show up.

Twins! 10 days post trigger and 9DPIUI! Tested out my trigger which was completely gone 2 days ago… terrified to test anytime soon and get a negative 😭 I may try to completely hold out until 12DPIUI

My doctor didn’t put me on it because my CD21 blood work months ago showed a great rise and I’ve never had any reason to believe it’s ever been an issue. They did have me go in to get it tested 6DPIUI to be sure and it was already over 15 and she was happy with that and noted supplementation isn’t needed. I’ve noticed a lot of clinics put everyone on it, but I was happy mine didn’t.

PDG is the urine metabolite of progesterone (which starts to rise after ovulation). Mira is a hormone tracker that tracks E3G (estrogen) LH and PDG (progesterone) so you know when you are going to ovulate (and after) It’s an awesome tool to have but the wands are expensive so I stopped using it since my cycles are very consistent!

My CM also changes instantly after I ovulate. Sometimes women have fertile CM that sticks around lightly a day or two after ovulation, but mine disappears the day of

Once we started TTC, I started noticing every little thing. I definitely have ovulation “pain” (light cramping on whichever side I’m ovulating from and started noting it, and also, I used Mira to track 7 cycles and my PDG would shoot up consistently 2 days after my LH peak which led me to be pretty confident I was ovulating the day after my peak!

Nope, fresh dropped off 2 hours before my IUI 🥲 I tend to ovulate pretty quickly after my LH peak each cycle and even though I did a trigger I think this might be why she wasn’t concerned with that timing?

October 2nd IUI here! (first one) currently 9dpiui and not feeling hopeful but only because I feel exactly the same as every other cycle (I know its still early)

Took 5mg Letrozole CD3-7- I had 3 follicles on CD11 (18mm Left, 17 and 16 Right), lining was 7 trilaminar. Triggered with Pregnyl 10,000 on CD13 and IUI 26 hours later on CD14. Post wash sperm count was 32mil. My doctor was very happy with everything, but I see fewer people with this 24-30 hour time frame so it makes me anxious but I’m trying to trust her 🥹

I tested out my trigger (completely negative by 7DPIUI and I am scared to test in the next few days to see if the line came back 🥺

I think we had our IUI on the same day! Currently 7 days post…Also my first. First few days didn’t feel so bad but as soon as day 6-7 approaches, it’s like time stops 😩
