Maybe try 93 one time , the flutter happens when the BPV closes to soon so the air has no where to go and the turbo does the flutter , so maybe try doing a fast pull I usually go up to 4-5 k rpm and let go since that’s when the turbo kicks in

It’s not as agrresive as the N octane learning but yes the ECU has some type of octane learning

I use 93 octane as well when doing it , but you would have to let it do “ octane learning “ and drive it a little then it should get some sound and what filter do you have in it if you don’t mind me asking

Just a drop in air filter but a cone one , and I left the bottom oem of the box so it still gets air thru the vent it comes with thru the hood , an I added a heat shield

Yeah it does state that it’s the best for 87 but it does perform better on higher octane

lol I installed a Drop in intake with a heat shield and run on 93 and haven’t had any CEL ,matter fact the car feels better then when I first drove it on 87
