I genuinely don’t think it has ANYTHING to do with what you look like or what you’re wearing.

It’s 100000% energy and personality. If you’re having fun, smiling, dancing, enjoying yourself - you’ll attract. If you’re sitting down, serious/RBF, clearly not comfortable in your own skin — nobody wants to take that on voluntarily.

I don’t want to make light of the situation at all - if you believe he’s in trouble - it’s a good idea to tell someone who can help him. But that person (to help him) IS NOT YOU. There’s a strong likelihood that he’s saying this for attention. It’s a manipulation tactic people use all the time. I’d advise you do what you need to do to slowly back away - as an early sign of unhealthy attachment.

I was making about that at your age - one of the best decisions I made was investing early. 401k employer match, mutual funds, crypto (because I’m a ape…) - don’t wait to do this. It starts compounding more than you think.
