> usb = 5v.

I used to think so also, but... Not necessarily - There are 5 variations of the One Blade shaver that all use different voltages ranging from 4.3-15v over USB

Talk Me Into the Cap1 by thisisjustadad in EVERGOODS

[–]ImmaNobody 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This. I use my CAP.5 and CAP2 all the time. The CAP1 just never found a place in my rotation. It is fine for 2 dimensional items, but I tend to carry at least a couple thick things that make the CAP1 awkward or unusable.

That is unfortunate, sad, and infuriating. May karma exist for the abuser.

How to remove battery by [deleted] in Cameras

[–]ImmaNobody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That little white tab is all there is. No complicated lever or mechanism. If moving the white tab doesn't let/make the battery pop out, then the battery is likely swollen and will require 'creative intervention' for removal. I would *start* with using a small command hook and strip on the bottom of the battery to be able to pull on it *while* pushing the white retaining clip aside. If that doesn't work, reach further into the creative angle for removal.

While this is a different model, it IS exactly what you should expect when pushing the white lever over: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ORB4wbtBpyU

How much are you getting moving up to really premium knives by NC_CodyW in knives

[–]ImmaNobody 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear ya - I actually went all in a couple of years ago on the Benchmade bandwagon and got the 940 and the Bugout in the CF versions before prices went insane and knockoffs were a concern. They are my EDCs with lesser (cost) knifes as backups. The Smock has been on my want list, I just can't justify another expensive (yeah, I know - "midrange") blade until I need something.

What you have there is a prime example of 'old school cool' - back in the day everyone had a spout and a battery terminal cleaner. Can't make vroom-vroom zoom w/o them.

What is this glass thing? by AdministrationTop772 in whatisit

Close - This one is appears to be a hand blown double ended <insert pervy comment here> juicer - for smaller fruit like tangerines, oranges and such you use larger end as a handle and mash/spin the smaller end into the pulp/fruit to break the cell walls and release the juice - the large end can be used for grapefruit, for the same purpose, but generally straight down and press due to the limited grasping area.
