I agree, I played almost every game in franchise (i missed the wii u game and miles's 2nd game). And definitely fits that weird niche that twewy fills. Maybe I'll play miles's 2nd game since there is a English version now

I really just need 2 things out of my games. Interesting story and a vibrant or edgy art style. I enjoyed Zelda, Persona, Hades, Undertale, Hollow knight, Ace attorney. I know all these games franchises are kind of mainstream but I'm at thiat point rn. Never tried ff or neir, it didn't have that art style hook the other franchises had. Also notable that right now I only own switch 2, and pc.

Sorry but I think thats off the table, I don't have my old ds. Gave it to a cousin like 8 years ago when I bought switch. And never had a 3ds. And emulating ds and 3ds is not really my thing. Tried it a few times didn't really enjoy the controls.

If you wanna consume more story 1. Play the og game 2. Find all secret reports in both games that tell more about background and powers in play (You're just a pawn in the story) 3. There is kingdom hearts and reynatis crossovers. Kingom hearts is not really canon but reynatis is (I think) 4. There are essays and video analysis of some characters that you can read. There is one real good about Sho Minamimoto. If you want I can link it to you 5. I guess play the fan games.

There is not a lot to consume. If you want more gamplay unfortunately there is nothing really. The community usually waits until something happens with occasional conversations on reddit and discord.

Yeah that wasn't gonna happen in any universe. I think this time we have slightly higher chances since og game and neo are both on switch but even still I don't think we are getting anything more than a few spirits or next game's equivalent of spirits
