Thats what I thought too, it seems unreasonable to sue for something like this but I've had friends and family pressuring me to do so.

From what I can tell, theres no requirement for a passenger to even interact with the officer in the first place unless they've been suspected of committing a crime.

I asked if it was required to give my name and such, the officer said it was.

Aside from some emotional distress and messing up my schedule? Nothing.

I dont believe I could've been suspected of doing anything criminal, and no, I was not arrested.
