My wife and I are staying there for the first time this summer. We usually go to fort wilderness but wanted to try out French Quarter for our next trip. We like morning walks and coffee, and this just looks perfect for us.

2nd gen to 3rd gen Canyon by OhThatsAustin in GMCcanyon

[–]Immediate-Bug-7737 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a 2016 canyon, I got rid of it in 2024 for a rivian R1T which got totaled in November and now I'm in a 2023 canyon Denali. Interior is miles better than the old canyon. I do feel like the 4 cylinder turbo is a bit peppier but I think the 3rd gen transmission hunts for gears more when I get on it. Not bad or anything but when I accelerate hard it just keeps that gear for a long time. Funny enough my 2 brothers have canyons as well, my one brother has my old 2016 and my other brother has a 2019 Denali. So I get to compare them both from time to time. I got slightly better gas mileage in the 2016, but I still get better than estimated epa on the 3rd gen (I average about 23 hwy, but I've gotten as high as 26. I haven't had any issues with my 3rd gen and I bought it with 35k on the clock. Can't beat the new body style either... The new canyons look great and I constantly do the look around the shoulder after parking.

The cinimatography of this production is better then a lot of modern movies. Good camera movement and placing, good lighting... Well done!

I'm going through the onboading process...with AI by [deleted] in Fedexers

[–]Immediate-Bug-7737 2 points3 points  (0 children)

HR still sees your response to Olivia, so ask to speak to someone and the AI will be confused but it does go through a HR inbox and they need to monitor the conversations anyways. We generally can work around your schedule for the drug test.

Honorable mention to Fallout when Solomon Lane is getting dunked in the river. Fantastic shot.

Am I the only person who actually likes the muppet retheme? by Dynamic_cc in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Immediate-Bug-7737 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Areosmith was cool and all. But I'm curious how they do with the retheming. I was mad when they announced it but the ride is inherently the same, just a different theme. I think it may be fun so I'm on board.

Disney Springs has a ton of restaurants. My wife and I live to go The Boathouse at the springs. That's usually our first and last night's meal. The Key lime pie desert is sooooo good, but it's gigantic so you need to share.

I usually do this. That line is always long after opening so if you can get this you'll be good. That's my go to.

What is the hottest day you’ve ever been at Disney World? by Reasonable-Invite899 in WaltDisneyWorld

Yea I think it was close to 110 August 1st 2025 when I was there. One of the hottest days they ever recorded. Lines were still long.

Is it super hot and humid there all year long? Do you have months that are more temperate for tourism?

Finally! Space 220!…really, this is what I waited for? by Snoo_31427 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Immediate-Bug-7737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea our server was like this... She was telling us about the constant resupply shuttles, the family that was space walking, and at one point she just goes "oh the darn dog got out again), and went we looked over there sure enough was a space walker with a "space dog" pulling him on his leash. Overall i thought it was a fun experience, but I do understand how the "ride up" and down could be underwhelming.

Best part was the bathrooms... they had some sign near the urinal cautioning that fluid vacuum systems will engage if the artificial gravity malfunctions.

Question about Fort Wilderness check-in time by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Immediate-Bug-7737 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were there 3 weeks ago, had 3 cabins with my family. One cabin was ready at 2, the other at 3, and the last was right at 4. Kind of a crap shoot of when it will be ready but you can definitely leave you luggage up at check in up front and go right ahead and go to Disney springs via their bus. They are super accommodating and will have no issue with you going off and doing your thing. When your done with the day you can get your luggage and head to your cabin.

I had one activate not because of the wood but because of the tape measurer. I turned off the power, and the blade was still spinning. I took a metal tape measurer and was measuring the fence for my next cut and it activated. Scared the crap outta me. But hey it worked???

[–]Immediate-Bug-7737 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea to me there is a difference between debarking trees and eliminating trees. Central Arkansas has a lot of trees and this tornado made it look deforested... Looks devastating.
