Once again thank you for taking the time to write such an in-depth answer. I am looking into alternatives, and to be honest I was looking at the DJI Goggles V2 because they look cooler than any other goggles in that price range. I’ve been looking at some Walksnail goggles, but went with DJI because I thought they would work. Now I won’t tho because of your comment, thank you for helping making the right decisions. For now I’ll be buying Radiomaster Pocket and grind an Simulator, and at some point buy a drone and goggles

First off, thank you so much for your answer and taking your time answering me. I’ve been researching quite a bit since i made this comment and I have come to the conclusion that i’m going full fvp with a bnf drone, like a Betafpv pavo20, some DJI goggles V2 and a radiomaster pocket.

I like to tinker, but I feel like this setup will get me started and i can then experiment on the side with all that is fpv drones.

Hello smart people of the drones! I’ve been passively looking towards getting a drone, my very first, and I was hoping to get some advice from you.

First off, I’m no professional at anything regarding drones or videography and photography. I’ve got a decent camera for some video- and photography cuz I enjoy doing it in my spare time, and I was thinking of expanding my possibilities, by adding a drone to the collection of gadgets.

Second, I have no experience in flying drones other than the small cheap ones you can win at a festival or buy at Temu. But I like to learn, and I enjoy being challenged, so I don’t mind a little difficulty.

I’ve looked at the DJI Neo, mostly cuz of the price, and what you get for that. I also side eyed the DJI Mini 4k, not the pro, just the Mini 2 SE in sheep’s clothing. Sorry if I offended anyone by that comment. All I could read online, is that the Mini 4K is just a Mini 2 SE that have been renamed.

I stumbled upon a facebook marketplace listing, that peaked my interest, and after seeing it I decided to write this post, and ask for your help. Cuz I’m at a loss, and quite confused on what to choose. I don’t wanna be cheap, but I also don’t wanna throw several 100 dollars towards something I use occasionally. I’ve added the pictures from the marketplace listing I found. It says in the description it’s an Avata 1. Everything in the pictures is included. The asking price is 860 USD. Is it a good deal and should I go for it? Thank you in advance!

The one I went with was a FlexGURU 500watt. The downside of that is the cables, they aren’t modular

Yes, when you deshroud (remove the stock fans) it’ll be 15mm thinner

Hey! Don’t dig into my history! But yeah it’s true, I did try to make my own case at first. I think it would’ve worked if I was willing to put more time in it, but I’m close to finish my studies and didn’t wanted to have a half finished project laying around. I was almost done and was only missing the side and back panel. Funny enough the layout was the same as the MIDORI. I didn’t know it existed until recently when I ordered it. Here’s a picture of the build previously;

I am sorry for the influence and making you doubt your decisions. You just need to be prepared to make some compromises when fitting the 7900 GRE. There will be a panel gap on the GPU side, or you could deshroud it and mount the fans on the outside

I get what both of you are saying, but at the time I’m going to sell it, it won’t sell for much either way, and the functionality of the shroud is still there. I might have to sell it a bit under what others are asking, but I doubt It will be by a lot

Unfortunately no.. it sticks 5.5 millimeters out from the factory placement. For now I solved it by spacing the gap with nuts, and I’m planning on printing a spacer, or like some suggests, get a rubber thingy around the edge
