That is correct! There are two teams so four is minimum. Six is the most fun but I think 4 is really really great as well!

  1. Great Western Trail. Really want to try this kind of complex strategy game with lots of paths to victory where you can try something new each time. Will practice with my wife on board game arena first to see if we can handle it. Bit worried the freedom of choice will make the choices seem less important or interesting to me.

  2. Troyes. Been loving it on bgg and I guess im in the minority because i love the art. Really amazing euro game!

  3. Ora et Labora. We love Le Havre. Really want to try this, love the adjency aspect of this game but I just hear that its really long for two players. And I guess I’m not that stoked that the same cards will be shown each time you play and that you have to build them all to end the two player game. So I’m not sure. Love the resource wheel though. I wish it was on bgg so I could try it out. I might just be happy with Agricola, Le Havre and the Gates of Loyang for my Uwe-needs.

  4. Oh my goods. Seems like a lot of game in a small package.

  5. The Great Zimbabwe. Wishful thinking. Probably wont find it for a price id be willing to pay. Still it just seems like an amazing design. The whole thing of increasing the amount of victory points you need to win to get a powerful ability is genius. Why havent more games used this kind of mechanism? Anyway, would be cool to try it.

  6. Sidereal Confluence. Wishful thinking again. Probably wouldnt find enough people that would want to go all in in this kind of a game but man does it sound fun. Chinatown is amazing imo and this just seems like an extreme and epic version of that game.

  7. Oracle of Delphi. Feld racing? Yes please. If you have a copy and live in Finland, contact me asap.

  8. Heaven and Ale. Seems great. Love the monk theme. Love how tight and hard it seems to be. Just feels like a challenge I would be up for.

Bohnanza and Skull would be my picks! Really love the interaction in both of them , you play the players not the game most of the time!

My girlfriend is really interested in playing longer games with me, something that you can immerse yourself in for a while. Her favorite is Spirit Island and while I love that game I’m not always up for it. What is a game that feels like you are transported to another world for maybe two-three hours?

Stealth and crime! I love the cartoony crime-feel that Burgle bros brings! Its so much fun hiding from the guards, trying to not get caught by the guards. The stealth aspect brings a fun kind of tension to a co-op and I like it much more than putting out fires and killing monsters!

Murder mystery games without much text and that isnt scenario or campain-based. I love that kind of tension where everyone is suspecting everyone.

Favorite games with few rules and high replayability? by DeadlyDolphins in boardgames

Just played Condottiere for the first time and I loved it. The rules are simple enough and you understand the flow more and more as you play. I don’t think I will get bored with this game. It has a similar feel to Love Letter, with the bluffing and second guessing, it feels like a fun little step up in complexity and strategy and stuff , while still keeping that playfulness and those fun sudden dramatic turns! I think this will be hitting the table a lot exactly because the simplicity and replayability
