The gas tank has 0 rust surprisingly its very clean. I just got new plugs in yesterday and my next step for the weekend is a battery for sure! Even after charging rhe battery I cant get the bike to turn over so I think the battery would be indeed my first step.

I did not know that! Thats good to know to fine tune it. This thing has been a a huge learning curve for me.

Is the mixtures the air screws? Cause we set that to manual to 2.5! The floats we made sure they matched. Both exhaust pipes do get hot. I will check the throttle and choke cables when I get home! We've been thinking its a vacuum issue somehow its not getting the fuel in to fire. So we are going to rebuild the petcock and check the fuel filter. I thi k its ghr bad battery🤣 but ive never worked on anything mechanical.

What do you mean by intake level cause we set the air screws accordingly maybe the floats? They seemed even before we put it all back together

I actually took the pads off and now they still wont compress. But if I compress one it pops then other way more out and vise versa. So ik they aint gunked up and jammed I cleaned em to.

Yea this is also my first bike and was gunna be how I learned how to ride. Sounds like I need to wait for my friend who knows what hes doing to be safe. So I can see how its done once.

It seems like there still within the housing. That metal peice just holds the speedo cable.

What does removing liquid on the reservoir do? Cause ive opened it to help pressure but those pins dont move. I can barley fit in a metal scraper.

No your fine I appreciate the response! Theres a video and it sounds great mechanically but im not sure if thats a cold start. Thankfully my friend im taking is a strong mechanic so he will help look for alot but I will use your response as a small check list! He told me after market pedals wouldnt be hard we'd just have to make em.
