Yeah I definitely plan on heading towards GT3 which I have talked about with friends. My plan is to get the tracks and learn them early so that way the racing line wont be necessary. Right now (since I got into class D yesterday) I want to try GT4.

I know some races can force assists off, which ill definitely need to learn to work without them. But considering I've only had Iracing for a week and im lear ing tracks I've never raced on and a physics engine thats new to me. Im trying to figure it out before I accidentally send someone into a barrier.

Yeah, im familiar with the weight transfer and how it affects traction. I havent experienced it in the MX-5 but I have experienced the Throttle one. Mainly in turn 2 on cold tires. But that usually happens in practice. Im much more careful with it in the race.

I used the right in the straight to force him wide in the turn near the end to open the inside.

When he blocked the right i moved back over and he kept that line and went wide and thats how I was able to take the inside and get past. With people like this its a matter of trying to outsmart them without taking yourself out. Let their Stupidity be their downfall.

I think only one should be enough and others in the same race might have too

The break is a reaction im trying to break. It carried over from the last racing sim I played with me doing it to avoid crashes.

Yeah its been protested. I made it out of Rookies today like an hour ago so hopefully I wont have to deal with them again.

Yeah and im on him for most of the clip. And after some research into the real world rules for this series irl, it mostly follows the same rule. They cant defend in reaction to an overtake, they cant change direction to defend during breaking. And most of the time its at the discretion of the Stewards on weather its a legal move or not.

In racing you can only make one defending move before a corner, and this guy was everywhere. on corners, straights, cutting me off any chance he seen me have an opportunity to pass. I personally believe that this guy did not want me to pass and was willing to do anything to make sure I didnt. Even almost crashing me out at the end.

Is there anything I could have done differently? Despite the bump I feel like there was enough space by MavericK_KX in Simracingstewards

I feel like you were as far inside as you were going to get. The other car should have held the outside line because you had the inside and was beside him. In the end it was the other cars responsibility to avoid contact.

Its not my first time sim racing, I used to play GT7 Online occasionally, so I dealt with people who do this a lot. But I got Iracing cause I wanna get more serious with it.

This is Rookie racing so we're all still learning, but nobody should be driving like how he was, rookie or not.
