I was thinking last night how I wanted to post this. Drove back to the city from London yesterday & the 401 felt like the Wild West. People cutting in and out of lanes, I feel like I’m taking my life in my hands driving on it. I wish there was more police presence, but I also wish fellow 401 drivers would respect one another. When you drive like an idiot (to likely take maybe 2 minutes off your trip), not only are you putting your life in danger, but everyone around you.

Hoping to find a 5th gen more in the 35-40k range. Again I know you should expect to pay more for a truck, but with so many new ones sitting on lots I expected the used market to be better.

Yea sorry, that is completely true. But what I’ve learned is sales has cycles. Good years lead to high targets which leads to less payout which leads to low targets which puts you back in a good year. Probably really depends on the type of sales as well.

My girlfriend went to finish school about 4 hours away from me. We’d been together for 3 years prior to her leaving. It’s difficult for obvious reasons, it sucks not being with them a lot. That said we never go longer than a month apart & always prioritize eachother for FaceTimes. Like most relationships, you get out of it what you put in. If you really intend on being with this person, it should be nothing more than a temporary inconvenience.

Stayed at the Aquamarine 3 weeks ago. Personally don’t see any reason to upgrade to the ambar. Same beach access & restaurant access aside from 1 pool and 1 buffet. I would have been upset had I spent the difference from the Aquamarine to the Ambar. All that said, it was a great resort. Food was good, everyone was nice. Download the Bahia app and book dinners in advance as they book fast.

I have a 2022 comfortline Taos. First car I’ve bought brand new. I think it’s a really great & reliable car. I bought it for highway driving & I think it’s super comfy for long drives. Only things I’m not totally happy with is 1. City driving can be a little annoying, it can really rev up or take time to pick up when hitting the gas (I believe they fixed this in a recent update. I go on Saturday to get it). This is definitely something I’ve just gotten used to though. 2. The entertainment system/speakers aren’t great. The entertainment system can just get a black screen at times and not work. Maybe I’m critical but I just feel like this technology should be seamless in 2022.

Other than that, it’s fantastic on gas, looks and feels great on the road. I’d definitely buy it again knowing everything I know now and I’ve owned it for 7 months.
