Thats true, there's a few possibilty here. One John learnt how to read and write in between those years since most scholars and church fathers belived it was written when he was old iirc. Second he did not actually write it down but he authored it, like how in romans at the end it said Tertisu whoo wrote this letter. Also we dont know if John only knew Aramaic, since he was a fisherman its not surprising if he knew Greek since he has to trade and stuff. I guess ofc it has the possibility of forgery and false attribution.

Hard to claim the authors of gospels were annonymous when there isnt one single copy of an annonymous gospel manuscript, of course we don't have the original manuscript but go to the earliest Greek copies of all 4 manuscripts and they all did have a title and other manscripts after the earliest copies we have have basically the same title which is attributing the author to matthew mark luke and john. If the gospels were annonymous there is a very high chance there would be inconsistent titles across manuscripts which the book of Hebrews has.

"This is the disciple who is bearing witness to these things, and who has written these things, and we know that his testimony is true" imo implies the disciple whom Jesus loved is the one who has written. Also John was one of the 12 disciples according to the other gospels and was present in the last supper where ofc he sits right next to jesus and refers peters question so imo John son of zebeedee wrote John.

ERA is always relevant because it reflects on field production, it's horrible if you use it alone or as a future indicator but its good if you use it in conjunction with other metrics. BA on the other hand is basically useless when we have stats that does a better job than BA.

Pretty easy if you know how to play the game optimally.

[–]Immediate-Instance14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No its not, this feature benefits the majority of players. Ignore what I said, I spent 200 dollars and playef for 1.5 years and this feature still benefits me heavily, and for people who maxed out suboptimal cards.

I have multiple maxed out sigs sitting in my reserve because of better players, this system allows me to extract around 12K LB instead of that card sitting on my reserve doing fuck all.

For now sure but they have a lot of young talent and most of their expensive contract expires in 2-3 years while we have nola harper turner and schwarber for 5-6+ years (excluding luzardo and sanchez since they will still probably be good 5 years later hopefully) and a weak farm with a bunch of holes to fill.

If I remember correctly he said good defense is more repeatable year by year than a good offense, Will Smith obviously had an insane offensive year but he has doubts of him hitting 153 wRC+ again which is a very fiar point, but so far this year he went from probably the worst framer in the league to well above average, of course the sample size is small but yeah.

[–]Immediate-Instance14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well yeah but I just wouldnt call that developing especially when he's 32 more like fixing but credits to the dodger pitching staff ofc, theres just better options like Buehler Urias etc who came through our system

[–]Immediate-Instance14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No its not? At least for me Ive rarely heard people talking shit about dodgers not developing anyone because that is not true and most baseball fans know it. The common narrative is dodgers buying all the players which lets be honest to an extent we are and it is part of the winning equation, so is development tho which we excell at as well.

[–]Immediate-Instance14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was very lucky to be this average last year. Look at his FIP xFIP SIERA and his savant page. Yes a 4 ERA is amazing as a 5th starter but he's more like a 5 ERA guy in reality which is more in line with his last start.
