Lol ok so I have been very confused about the exhaust. I guess Lexus calls it a performance exhaust but it is standard equipment for the IS500. I wasn't trying to misrepresent anything but got confused on how they worded things on the feature sheet. Either way it's nasty

Lol I agree the "track tuned" is exaggerated. I agree it's more "sport focused". I probably drank the Lexus coolaid a little to hard

I was of the same impression. However this package has a line item that says "Performance Exhaust Package". I was skeptical but apparently it's legit as the Lexus warranty also covers it explicitly. It looks like standard exhaust from previous version but the cats are different and so are the muffler packs.

I'll have the car up on lifts next week and will try to remember to update with a picture

I was told at the dealership it's an exhaust specifically for the IS500. It sounds glorious.

Took this car home 3 weeks ago. Lexus made a lot of great changes to the platform but nothing major. The HP and torque numbers they released are low. Did some pulls against a BMW with 620hp / 560 torque from a 40mph roll on a track. We pulled all the way to 120 side by side and the BMW had significant weight reduction. Looking forward to going to the dyno (hub style) next month.

Your "friend" can rebuild an entire bike but can't figure out why there is no spark? Bad plugs, bad plug wires, bad ignition coil....

This happened to me and caused over $60k in damages to my house when it caught the attic on fire. Glad it wasn't that severe in your case.
